Components for neutron instruments

IRELEC designs most of the mechanical components for triple-axis spectrometers.
These adjusting and positioning devices are particularly suitable for neutrons due to their:

- non-magnetic construction
- drive (manual or motorized).

IRELEC has led or participated in a variety of projects :

- small angle scattering (SANS) : IN14, D11, D22 (ILL), PAXY and PACE (LLB)
- mobile platform and shielding for backscattering spectrometer : IN10C (ILL)
- shielding for high resolution powder diffractometer : HRPD (KAERI, Korea, collaboration with CILAS)
- detector-holder for the FOCUS experiment (PSI)
- sample lines for FLEX, SPAN and NEAT experiments (HMI).
